The second-hand marketplace Members Share Anger Over Size Changes
Shoppers are voicing their frustration after an update resulted in listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The popular resale platform has altered its sizing categories for female and kids' apparel failing to inform all shoppers about the modification.
Social Media Backlash
Countless users and merchants have taken to social media claiming that product pages now present a modified sizing category compared to what was initially listed due to the recalibration.
The company said the new system was more in line with other platforms.
It has advised users to examine their items and manually change the size where appropriate, causing user dissatisfaction.
Sizing System Changes
Before the change, the measurements included numerical and alphabetical indicators, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes an alphabetical indicator and numerical range for example S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the size labels have been reassigned - such as a large size used to be a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.

Frankie Bridger, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, stated the update "complicates both purchasing and selling".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Another user, based in Glasgow, explained products she uploaded on Vinted with size 14 labels were showing in the marketplace as measurements 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they may become frustrated," she explained.
Manual Updates
Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, explained she became annoyed due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizes on "every single listing".
"This situation is especially annoying, because of my ongoing medical condition and selling on Vinted has been paramount for me since losing part of my income," she explained.
Marketplace Information
The app has more than 100 million users, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has emerged as a preferred choice compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance that an unexpected update to the app has proved unpopular: last year, the platform withdrew an update to its shipping options after backlash from users.
